I tried my hardest to find a color shot of her since my past two posts have been in black and white but this really was the only picture I could find of her. The color shots were beautiful but they were mostly just great photography, not portraits. I just saw her in the BBC adaption of Emma and she had such charisma and wit and spunk that I wanted a picture that could show all of that. I like that she isn't bogged down by heavy makeup or props.

Lily Elsie absolutely gorgeous. Then again every woman from the Edwardian Era was. They didn't seem to try as hard. Yes, they wore extravagant clothes and hairstyles but they had an unkempt look about them as well. Their eyebrows were thick, their hair was not dyed or drowned in product and their figures were not sculpted. There's something beautiful about a women who's comfortable.
